Exciting things have been happening for Sasha and Phillip since getting engaged this past summer. Sasha is the owner of a fabulous pet boutique called Spaghetti & Me where she custom designs and hand crafts adorable collars, harnesses and leashes. Spaghetti & Me is gearing up for summer and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s coming! You can check out her designs for yourself at www.spaghettiandme.com . Phillip will be finishing up his second bachelor’s degree this semester. On top of that, he has just been accepted into the Graduate Program at the University of South Carolina. (Go Gamecocks!) With their busy schedules (and now, some beautiful warm weather), they are finally getting around to taking their engagement photos.
We started the day by taking the pups, Spaghetti and JD to the park to get some pictures of everyone together. The dogs may have had other ideas… specifically, duck chasing. Afterwards, we took a bit of a detour and stopped by the America Loves Bacon Tour where Phillip decided to enter a bacon eating contest. After consuming an entire pound of bacon, he somehow managed to find the ability to continue with pictures. (If only we all had that ability.) After that, we headed to The Horseshoe at the University of South Carolina then we made a quick stop at The Longstreet Theatre on Greene Street. If there is such a thing as too much fun, it may be known as pictures + bacon = joy.
I honestly can’t say enough about these two. If you have the opportunity to spend even just a few minutes with either of them, it is obvious that they are perfect for each other. They each have a gift for making people feel welcome, both of them always finding the silver lining in everything. It really is a lot more fun, always focusing on the good times. You guys are the greatest and I am so happy for you both. I hope you had as an amazing time as I did.
